'The Fosters' Season 4 Episode 16 Spoilers: Jude Gets Angry With Lena

Jude (Hayden Byerly) will lose his patience with his mother when he becomes the target of censure of some of the students in school in the upcoming episode of "The Fosters."

In the episode titled "The Long Haul," the synopsis (according to TV Guide) reveals that Lena (Sherri Saum) will be spearheading a sex-ed class focusing on the LGBTQ community. Last episode, she listened to Jude's concerns that the sex-ed class previously held in school did not include gay relationships. Lena may be holding the event to support her son, but she will not expect that her actions will lead to other kids' taunting Jude about his sexual orientation.

When Jude realizes that his schoolmates are teasing him, he will likely get angry with his mother for putting him in such an uncomfortable situation. The last thing he wants to experience is to be bullied because he is gay. However, Jude needs to understand that Lena does not mean to embarrass him in front of other people. In fact, she only wants what is best for all of her children. Lena has been struggling with problems lately. Taking care of Jesus (Noah Centineo) is taking its toll on her.

Last episode, Jesus accused his girlfriend, Emma (Amanda Leighton), of flirting with Brandon (David Lambert). He could see that the two have been spending time together. What Jesus did not know was that Emma got an abortion. Brandon accompanied her to the hospital because she had no one.

The promo shows, though, that Jesus has a reason to be jealous. In the clip, Emma is telling Brandon that there really is something going on between them. However, his expression shows that she is wrong to think that there is.

Meanwhile, Callie (Maia Mitchell) is shown telling AJ (Tom Williamson) that she may go to jail. Her father, Robert (Kerr Smith), previously informed her that she has to go to trial. AJ's reaction to the news does not please Callie. He makes it look like it is her fault why she is in that situation in the first place. Callie got involved in a car accident while investigating Mrs. Johnson's murder.

"The Fosters" season 4 episode 16 will air on Tuesday, March 14, at 8 p.m. ET on Freeform.
