'The Good Wife' Season 6 News: Episode 3 'Dear God' Recap, Episode 4 Spoilers
"The Good Wife" continues to keep viewers riveted with its storyline and stellar cast headed by Emmy Award winner Julianna Margulies.
For the third episode of season 6 titled "Dear God," Alicia and partner Dean Levine-Wilkins (Taye Diggs) take over for Cary as the public face of the plaintiff's side of the suit in which a farmer, who developed a genetically modified seed, sues his neighbor for stealing his product. Guest star Robert Sean Leonard ends up moderating the suit in what was referred to as a "Binding Christian Arbitration." While Alicia is impressed with Dean's ability to quote scripture and he tells her that he almost became a priest, she admits, "I don't think I'm genetically built to believe in God."
Meanwhile, Alicia still keeps on insisting that she's not running for State's Attorney, but a run-in with incumbent Castro might have changed her mind. She staunchly declares that she still has no plans to run, but then she has an encounter with feminist icon Gloria Steinem.
"We need more good women to run," exhorts Steinem, which could be the turning point for Alicia. As she enters Eli's office, she asks, "If I ran, what's the plan?"
Alicia is clearly considering running for state's attorney, but will she really go through with it?
The next episode, titled "Oppo Research" could provide the answer to this question, and will feature guest star Steven Pasquale as Jonathan Elfman who could help Alicia decide whether or not she will run for state's attorney, according to Cartermatt.
"When Alicia agrees to further explore the option of running for State's Attorney, Eli brings a respected campaign manager into the fold to help her decide once and for all," a synopsis of the episode read.
