'The Good Wife' Season 7 Spoilers, Plot News: Alicia Goes to Bond Court, Deals with Alcohol Problem

Fans of "The Good Wife" will be seeing Alicia Florrick once again as the show is back for it seventh season. The lead character, played by Emmy-winner Julianna Marguiles, is going to go through another round of trying to deal with life as a wife of a public figure and as a lawyer. According to CBS L.A., Alicia will find a new path in life and will even meet new people.

Since she needs to earn money, she heads over to the bond court to work despite the fact that it's a job a lot of lawyers "look down on" because of its very tough nature. Also, it's said to be the place people go to when they can't get into law firms, as is the case for Alicia since no law firm is willing to hire her after her name got tainted.

She joins Louis Canning (Michael J. Fox) in work and it seems like the two will work in tandem to take down Diane Lockhart (Christine Baranski), Cary Agos (Matt Czuchry) and David Lee (Zach Grenier), as reported by Bustle.

Alicia will also meet in the bond court the young, hungry attorney Lucca Quinn (Cush Jumbo), whom she will bond with and develop a friendship despite starting off with the wrong foot initially. Jason Crouse (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) will also be appearing in the upcoming season as Alicia's new investigator. International Business Times reported that Jason might be Alicia's new love interest during the course of the season. Viewers will be seeing Vanessa Williams again as she reprises her role as Courtney Boalt.

Aside from work life, the seventh season will also be tackling Alicia's family life. EW noted that one of the themes the show will be focusing on is how she will rebuild, especially since her second child will be heading off to college. She's also said to be going through an alcohol problem, shifting from wine to "little margaritas."
