'The Good Wife' Season 7 Episode 6 Recap: Everyone Lies

The previous episode of "The Good Wife" showed the group caught up in lies.

Titled "Lies," episode 7 of "The Good Wife" season 6 focused on a tech employee named Kristen. The character was recently fired because she had lied during a polygraph test. However, it was revealed that there was more to the story.

It was reported that the company had deceived Kristen. Apparently, Kristen was given a test because there was a security breach in the company. She was accused of stealing from the company after lying on the test.
But it was revealed that there was actually no security breach. The company just made up the situation because they wanted to fire Kristen. The reason why they wanted her gone from the company was because they had taken her app idea called, Spoiler, which helps users determine the plot stories for television series. Kristen had been working on the app outside of work before the company sold it to the National Security Agency (NSA).

With that, the presence of the National Security Agency brought back Jeff Dellinger, played by Zach Woods. Alicia decided to get in touch with Dellinger so that he can help her with the case. From there, he confirmed that NSA was already using the Spoiler app.

Meanwhile, Lockhard, Agos, and Lee were also going through several challenges. The episode showed the firm going through some recruitment process. With that, they faced some obstacles while interviewing a black woman called Monica Timmons, played by Nikki M. James.

The issue that the episode featured was that Monica Timmons did not graduate from a high-profile university. However, it was evident that Diane wanted to hire her because she explained that Monica will bring diversity. Along with Diane, Howard was also enthusiastic to hire Monica.

Unfortunately, Howard expressed some questionable comments during her interview, which led to Monica uploading the interview up on YouTube, which puts Lockhart, Agos, and Lee in a compromising competition.

"The Good Wife" season 7 airs every Sunday.
