'The Good Wife' Season 7: New Episode to Air on Jan. 10
"The Good Wife" season 7 will have no new episodes until Jan. 10, when "Iowa" will be aired to reveal Peter's possible fate.
The Caucus may not mark the end of Peter's presidential run, but it could help determine what is in store for him in the future. "The Good Wife" season 7's next episode will also show Alicia and Eli spending more time together after the revelation regarding Will's deleted message for her, according to Carter Matt.
In the winter finale, Eli admitted that has deleted a message that Will Gardner sent to her six years ago. He was filled with guilt over what he did because it may have affected Alicia's life. This time, he wants Alicia to find her true happiness, the Inquisitr reports.
Will was Alicia's former lover from law school who suddenly died in season 5. Eli hid the message from her to protect Peter's political career, because that is what political advisors are supposed to do, the report explains.
The confession, however, will elicit a violent response from Alicia. A preview clip for the next episode shows that she will throw several dishes at Eli. The video ends with her closing the door to prevent more outbursts.
After Jan. 10, another "Good Wife" episode is scheduled to air on Jan. 17. The next episode, titled "Tracks," will be the last one for the month of January. This arrangement will allow CBS to have some time to air the NFL postseason action. The series could come back on Jan. 31, but this is not guaranteed.
CBS will also have to make way for the Super Bowl on Feb. 7, so "The Good Wife" will have to be moved to another schedule, the report details.
"The Good Wife" season 7 is set to return on Jan. 10. More details on the upcoming schedule of the series are expected to be announced in the coming days.
