'The Heirs 2': Lee Min Ho Agrees to Do 'Heirs' Sequel With Park Shin Hye
After rumors of Lee Min Ho and Suzy Bae's breakup surfaced, new reports claim that "The Legend of the Blue Sea" star has finally agreed to reunite with Park Shin Hye for "The Heirs" season 2. Both stars have reportedly accepted the offer due to insistent public demand, as fans have been clamoring for a follow-up series to the original show.
Previously, it was reported that Lee Min Ho and Suzy split after the former got jealous of "W" actor Lee Jong Suk. Weeks since the news broke, none of the two parties has confirmed the news about their split. However, rumors are now swirling around that after Lee Min Ho's split with the singer-actress, he has decided to get back on-screen with Park Shin Hye to do the "Heirs" sequel.
Since "The Heirs" wrapped up, the popularity of Lee Min Ho and Park Shin Hye has never diminished. In fact, a recent global survey revealed that even Americans who are riding the Korean wave consider the "Heirs" co-stars as the most popular Korean actor and actress today.
While the said reunion is good news for fans, there are rumors claiming that Lee Min Ho's reunion with Park Shin Hye is only his way of coping with his recent split with Suzy, who is currently working on her new drama series with Lee Jong Suk, "While You Were Sleeping."
When it was first announced that Suzy and Lee Jong Suk would be starring in a new drama, fans of the A-list Korean actor and actress were happy about the news. However, some were not happy to know that Lee Min Ho was displeased with his girlfriend's decision to accept the project.
As of this writing, neither Lee Min Ho nor Suzy Bae has confirmed their rumored split. SBS has also yet to confirm if "The Heirs" will be renewed for another season.
