Gamers who are fans of Hong Kong action flicks will appreciate the tone of "The Hong Kong Massacre." They will also love the central character, a man in black suit who might remind gamers of Keanu Reeve's "John Wick."

Fans of shooter games liken "The Hong Kong Massacre" to Remedy Games' "Max Payne" from 2001 or Dennaton Games' "Hotline Miami" from 2012.

"The Hong Kong Massacre" is a shooter game that takes place in the Asian city. Players are tasked to take down the Hong Kong Triad but it's going to be a challenge to learn using guns or evade criminals in a crowded urban jungle.

A Vreski developer described part of the gameplay in a community post from its official blog. Using maps, gamers will have to track down members of the Triad in order to get closer to the man on top.

Each challenge will unlock new locations and new characters. Players will also learn new skills as their games progress.

"The main game mechanic is the ability to slow down time whenever you want," a Vreski developer hinted. "When you slow down time you can dodge bullet by rotating your character and also rack up shoots when killing enemies."

"The Hong Kong Massacre" will also be out for PC, Linux and Mac players.
