'The Incredibles 2' Rumors: Jack-Jack Takes An Evil Turn

When "The Incredibles 2" was announced, fans immediately raised a number of speculations about the sequel, and while there is not much word from director Brad Bird as to how the story line will go, rumor has it that the movie will be focusing on Jack-Jack.

In the first movie, Jack-Jack's power was unleashed after having the urge to protect his family, which at the time, was put in grave danger. It is yet unknown as to what extent his powers can reach, especially since it is believed that in the upcoming movie, he will be older.

Wikia says the sequel will look more into the abilities of Jack-Jack, with the young boy coming to a realization that he can only reach the peak of his awesomeness when he is aggravated. The outlet also says the 6-year-old rebel will turn against his family as he becomes the side kick of an "unknown villain."

Due to the lack of information from Bird and his team, fans and some outlets speculate that at one point, Jack-Jack may become a villain, probably after he discovers how powerful he can become.

Meanwhile, fans are just speculating that the movie will release sometime in 2016. Unfortunately, Pixar still doesn't have any news or confirmation to provide. What's clear, though, is that Bird is already working on the upcoming movie.

According to Crossmap, Bird said, "If I can come up with a story that is as good or better than the first film, then I'd love to return that to the world, but it would be the story first." Bird's comments raised rumors that he may be in the early stages of developing the story, or he might be done with it but is just waiting for confirmation from the higher office.

Another widely welcomed rumor is that of Bob and Helen Parr finally deciding to retire. Fans find the idea quite interesting as the spotlight will now shine on Dash, Violet, and Jack-Jack.
