'The Incredibles 2' Release Date, Plot News: Sequel Coming Out Next Year; Film to Explore Jack-Jack's Powers?
Following the success of the 2004 "The Incredibles" film, there is finally going to be a sequel to the animated movie, and it is arriving in cinemas next year.
The original movie, where fans met the superfamily and got introduced to their powers, was a hit at the box office, with a gross of $600 million worldwide and winning several awards.
While more plot details for the sequel has not yet been revealed, an fyrTV YouTube video suggests that it may explore the abilities of baby Jack-Jack, who unveiled his powers at the end of the first film. Also, in a sneak peek that was shown during the D23 Expo back in July, it was revealed that Mr. Incredible becomes a stay-at-home father who discovers how difficult it is to control Jack-Jack's powers.

Director Brad Bird has been keeping mum on the plot details. Fans are encouraged to wait for more updates regarding the upcoming animated movie.
In other news, one of the leading U.S. toymakers, JAKKS Pacific, has announced that month that they have signed on to globally produce licensed toys for Disney-Pixar's "The Incredibles 2."
"We're thrilled to extend our relationship with Disney and be named the master toy licensee for The Incredibles franchise," Stephen Berman, the chairman and CEO of JAKKS Pacific, reportedly said. "We are looking forward to working with the remarkable storytellers at Pixar and Disney to bring The Incredibles characters to life through a variety of toys and other consumer products for a new generation of kids," he added.
In partnership with the Disney Consumer Products, JAKKS is said to manufacture, market, and distribute different types of toys, such as action figures, including mini-figures and collectible figures, as well as novelty toys, radio control toy vehicles, playsets, preschool toys, interactive toys, accessories, and toy vehicles.
"The Incredibles 2" is set to hit theaters on June 15, 2018.
