'The Justice League' movie news: Henry Cavill on a strict diet
Details about the new film "The Justice League" were shared by actor Henry Cavill.
The actor shared that in order to maintain his Superman physique, he is currently under a strict diet. Cavill is required to be as lean as possible, according to Movie News Guide. He explained that in order to buff up for the character, he stocks up on burgers. However, he still enjoys drinking on rare occasions or when he is on break.
The Justice League is expected to begin pre-production as early as January 2016. However, the plot and storyline of the movie have yet to be released. What is known about the film is that Cavill will be appearing as Superman, along with Ben Affleck as Batman. Gal Gadot will also portray the character of Wonder Woman, who is expected to play a major role in the upcoming film.
Cavill stated, "The universe doesn't make things happen. If I don't get the job, I'm not the right guy for the job. You've got to be careful not to be that actor who's like, 'I'm going to do something really different' and it's just c**p. Don't try and be different, just play a character well."
The filming will also include Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Jason Mamoa as Aquaman, and Ray Fisher as Cyborg. They will be joining Cavill, Affleck, and Gadot for the upcoming "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" film.
Meanwhile, it was confirmed that the screenplay has already been complete. It was written by Zack Snyder and Chris Terrio. Terrio said, "Chris would talk and I would draw it, and it was basically this weird mural of the movies with no words."
The film is expected to compete with the Marvel Cinematic universe. The Justice League will be rivaled against the "Avengers."
The Justice League is expected to premiere on Nov. 17, 2017.
