'The Last Man on Earth' Season 2 Episode 9 Spoilers: Carol Brings Back Christmas, Tandy Falling for Kristen Schaal's Character?
"The Last Man on Earth" season 2 is down to its last two episodes. After the events from episode 8, things are going to head over to the Holiday season. According to a report by Ecumenical News, season 2 episode 9 of the show will have Carol planning on bringing back the spirit of Christmas.
The series kicked off with the world almost empty of human life after a deadly virus spread throughout the nations. And since there are no people, the holidays and traditions have been swept away as well. That is why Carol, played by Kristen Schaal, is determined to bring back the festivity with the remaining humans in the upcoming episode titled "Secret Santa."
The released official synopsis of the episode revealed that Carol will organize an anonymous gift exchange activity for everyone. But as usual, the gang isn't as perky as Carol can be. Latin Post detailed that the episode will show Carol having a hard time pulling off the holiday cheer since no one seems to be interested in celebrating Christmas anymore. Aside from that, they are located in southern California and there is no snow to ignite the feeling of excitement and Christmas spirit among the group.

Will Carol's attempt in bringing back Christmas succeed or will it turn into a total disaster? Fans will need to watch out for it.
Meanwhile, things may be looking great for the first love team of the show. According to an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Schaal revealed that Will Forte's character Philip Tandy Miller may already be head over heels for Carol already.
Carol and Tandy (Phil) have been the first characters of the show back in the first season. Tandy was not exactly happy that Carol had to be the last woman on earth but as they moved along, things have changed.
"Tandy's finally come around to realizing how special Carol has been all along. I think Tandy really tickles her, he's got a lot of life in him, and so does she. I think they're both very happy to be together," says Schaal.
The other Phil, played by Boris Kodjoe, has been hitting on Carol though. But he might have a hard time getting in the way between her and Tandy as their relationship is finally starting to bloom.
"The Last Man on Earth" season 2 episode 9 will air on Sunday, Dec. 6 on Fox.
