'The Last of Us Remastered' News: On the PS4 Pro Patch and The Upcoming Sequel

Developed by Naughty Dog, "The Last of Us Remastered" received outstanding critical acclaim when it was released back in 2014. Still standing as one of the most loved titles by the gaming community, recent reports have revealed that the developers have released a patch for "The Last of Us Remastered" that function to optimize it for modern day consoles, specifically for Sony's PlayStation 4 (PS4) Pro.

"We've just launched a new update for The Last of Us Remastered and The Last of Us Remastered: Left Behind that introduces expanded display settings for players using a PlayStation 4 Pro system," game developer Naughty Dog said in a statement. "Starting today, PS4 Pro players will be able to select from new menu options and presets that provide additional configurations for resolution, frame rate, and shadow quality."

Furthermore, patch 1.09 for "The Last of Us Remastered" and patch 1.03 for "The Last of Us Remastered: Left Behind" will allow players to experience each title in 4K and traditional HD. Aside from the display settings and optimization, the update also fixed an issue for the bugs and exploits found in the Factions Multiplayer.

The patch for both game titles from Naughty Dog should download automatically when gamers boot up their consoles. Fans are expecting to go through the entire campaign again just to experience the solid plot and visuals that "The Last of Us Remastered" offers.

Reports on "The Last of Us 2" are still limited as it is still in the development phase. There is no official release date for the game title as of yet, but fans are expecting more information by next year.

In the meantime, those who have yet to experience "The Last of Us Remastered" are urged to give it a go as it remains to be one of the best action and adventure video game to be released.
