'The Last Ship' Season 2 News, Spoilers: Ramsey Implicates the Navy in a Devastating Event
The plot thickens as the second season of TNT's hit post-apocalyptic drama TV series "The Last Ship" continues this week with an episode that will see Tom and his brave Navy personnel getting mixed up on a devastating event.
Citing Cartermatt.com, spoiler reports for the episode titled "Valkyrie" indicate that fans will probably be caught in the stressful and intense moments of the instalment brought by a major devastating event.
The report said that Sean Ramsey will execute his grand schemes to discredit the Navy from the eyes of the very people they serve. He will do so by broadcasting a message that implicates the soldiers "in a devastating disaster."
This dire situation will prompt the captain to infiltrate the enemy's network and destroy the threat from within. It is also of equal urgency that Chandler and the squad will be able to regain the trust and belief of their own people. They will do so by finding the proof that will vindicate the Navy from the accusations being thrown at them.
Meanwhile, the USS Nathan James will finally be able to locate the source of the Immune's signal which, as the summary said, is a "mysterious oil platform in the middle of the ocean."
Chandler and his crew will immediately set out to the designated mark but they will be greeted with adversaries whose goal is to eliminate the Navy, once and for all.
These opposing forces are clearly the allies of Ramsey. According to the report, these people have agreed with the plan to infect the entire human race with the virus.
Behind the scenes of the show, Master Herald reported that TNT has renewed the series for Season 3. Citing Spoiler TV, the next chapter is slated to premiere next summer and will contain a total of 13 episodes with Eric Dane still taking the mantle as Captain Thomas "Tom" Chandler.
"The Last Ship" airs Sunday at 9 p.m. on TNT.
