'The Leftovers' Season 2 Episode 7 Spoilers – Kevin Confronts Patti Who Has Been Haunting Him
In the upcoming seventh episode of "The Leftovers" Season 2 titled "A Most Powerful Adversary," Kevin Garvey will come close to breaking point as he confronts Patti Levin who is haunting him. What is her purpose in doing so?
The synopsis for the Episode 7 of "The Leftovers" states that Nora has some surprising news for Kevin and Jill. Nora is talking about leaving. Is this Kevin's dream?
From the promo for the episode, viewers will see Kevin as he wakes up, handcuffed, with Patti sitting across him, full of spite. She tells him, "She's gone…..It's going to be a hard day, buddy."

Nora is a troubled cop who fears abandonment after the event of the "Sudden Departure." Here she might mean to abandon Kevin and Jill when she says she is leaving Miracle.
This season, the viewers have been watching Kevin slowly going towards a breakdown. He is having visions of Patti, horrible dreams that seem like real and he cannot confide in anybody. In the previous episodes, his wife also refuses to see the problem as everyone might think Kevin is responsible for the disappearance of Murphy's little daughter.
But Kevin's strange behaviour is not apparent to those around him as all are steeped in their own problems.
The Murphy's are too distraught about their daughter's disappearance to notice Kevin talking to imaginary people while Nora, who is already troubled, finds out she may be a "Lens" – a person who exudes energy so other people may depart.
Kevin had confided, at last, to Nora about all the problems he has been facing and of his visions of Patti. He has realized that he might soon go crazy and the only way to stop this would be to confront Patti.
The promo also shows Kevin meeting with some people. They do not seem to be real. When Kevin goes searching for Nora, Patti is there with him. Kevin calls out angrily to her, daring her to come on. Patti asks, "You think I'm scared to do battle with you?" to a scared Kevin. She states confidently, "I am so very ready to do battle."
Where has Nora gone? What will Kevin discover when he calls out to Patti? What will she show him?
