'Champion's Ballad' expected to be released before the end of the year
One downloadable content (DLC) pack is already available for "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild," and there's another coming in the near future.
The other DLC pack known as "The Champion's Ballad" was initially expected to be released a while back, but it is still in development at this point.
The good news for players is that they can still expect this second DLC pack to be released sooner rather than later.

Series producer Eiji Aonuma provided an update about "The Champion's Ballad" recently via a video posted by the NintendoAU channel.
According to Aonuma, the second DLC pack is still on track to come out before the end of 2017. Aonuma also urged fans to "hold on just a little longer" for "The Champion's Ballad."
Currently, developers have yet to reveal everything that is contained within "The Champion's Ballad," although they have highlighted some of its more significant features.
According to the game's official website, there will be a new story told in the DLC pack to go along with an extra dungeon. "Breath of the Wild" players can also look forward to more challenges becoming available to them via the DLC pack.
A previously released video teasing the DLC pack also reveals that "The Champion's Ballad" is "an ancient verse passed down" in a certain region of the in-game world.
The game's Expansion Pass is still available for those who want to check out "Breath of the Wild's" post-launch additions.
Along with "The Champion's Ballad" and the previously released "Master Trials," the Expansion Pass also gives players three new chests. One of the chests contains a special shirt for Link that features the Nintendo Switch logo. The other two chests contain items that will be helpful in the game.
