'The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild' Tips and Tricks: Finding and Gathering the Barbarian Armor Set
One of the best items to collect in the "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" is the Barbarian Armor set, but it is pretty much a rare find.
However, once a player finds every piece of the Barbarian Armor set, the results will be rewarding as it increases Link's overall attack power. It is important to note though that each piece – the helm, armor and leg wraps – is found in a different location, according to a report by iDigitalTimes.
The Barbarian Armor piece is located in the Dila Maag Shrine. To get to the said shrine, players will have to go through the South Lomei Labyrinth at the eastern part of the Gerudo Desert. When he finds the said labyrinth, he has to make his way to very top of the structure and go inside the room where the Dila Maag Shrine is.
However, there is another way to get to the said shrine. Players will have to enter through the main entrance of the labyrinth and follow this sequence of turns: make a right, three lefts, three rights, two lefts, turn right, left, right, left, right, two lefts, right, and left. Once there is no way forward, the player should make another two left turns, two rights, left, right, two lefts, right, and then left.
Upon finding the Dila Maag Shrine, players can immediately acquire the Barbarian Armor piece without having to surpass a challenge or quest.
As for the Barbarian Helm, it is hidden in a chest at the Tu Ka'loh Shrine. The said shrine is located within the Lomei Labyrinth Island. To get there, players will have to get to the highest cliff they can find. From there, they need to glide with their shield to find the Labyrinth.
Players have two options to get the helm. First is through the labyrinth's entrance. Inside, they will find six pillars placed in the middle of the labyrinth, players need to stay on the left side of those pillars.
Then walk straight ahead until there is no way of going forward. Then make a left and then take four right turns, three lefts and then two rights. Players should find the stairs that lead to the Tu Ka'loh Shrine where the chest containing the helm is placed.
Players can also save time by gliding from a cliff straight to the room where the Tu Ka'loh Shrine is. When a player is high up in the air, they will be able to see where it is. However, they have to be cautious of Guardians and their drones.
Just like in the Barbarian Armor piece, getting the helm does not require finishing a quest or puzzle too.
Lastly is the Barbarian Leg Wraps which can be found in the Qaza Tokki Shrine within the North Lomei Labyrinth. To get to the said labyrinth, players need to go to the northeast part of Tabantha Snowfield.
There are two options to enter the labyrinth. First is by climbing to its peak and directly entering the room where the Qaza Tokki Shrine is.
Second, players can also get more adventurous and go for another maze, only this time there is a little task at the end.
To begin, walk through the entrance and straight to the square placed at the middle of the hall. From there, players will need to turn to the right, then left, and then right again.
Continue turning to left, right, left, right, two lefts, right, left and then run straight ahead until there is no way forward. From there, turn to the left, right, left, right, left, right, left. From there, players will find the stairs. However, malice goo obstructs the way. There is another maze to overcome to solve this.
From the point where the stairs are, player will need follow this sequence of turns correctly: left, right, left, right, left, right, left, right, left, left, right, left, left, right, right, left, left, right. At the end of this, players will find the eye that controls the malice goo blocking the stairs. It needs to be destroyed.
Once destroyed, players can go back to the now unblocked stairs that they will now climb until they find a wall.
Players will need to go over the wall, walk straight the corridor and they will find the Qaza Tokki Shrine at the center of the hall.
