'The Legend of Zelda' News: Game to Feature an Open World; May Be Available by the End of the Year

The recently speculated release date for "The Legend of Zelda" had already passed, yet the highly anticipated game has yet to be seen.

It was announced around two years ago that Nintendo will be releasing the game "The Legend of Zelda" for the Wii U console. With that, fans have been waiting patiently for the game to come out.

It was revealed that the title will be released this year, 2015. According to the designer of "The Legend of Zelda," Eiji Aonuma, the game will feature an open world that will allow players to explore the game freely. They are expected to make their own decisions on where they want to go and which places they will enter. Players have the capability to travel by foot or ride Epona, a horse.

However, there was no exact date announced for the release. Speculations on the released date were recently reported when the Walmart website showed a listing for "Zelda 2" for Wii U. With the assumption that the listing is for "The Legends of Zelda," the site is already accepting pre-orders of the game.

The page stated that the game will be ready for shipping by Oct. 1. With the date passed, there has still been no sign of the game. However, there were rumors that the game will probably release later this month, or even November.

Meanwhile, it was stated that gamers can choose different options for pre-ordering the game. The title is available for £44.99. However, Amazon and ShopTo are offering the title for £42.85 as a pre-order. The pre-order is expected to feature a special collector's edition and pre-order bonus packages.

However, it has yet to be revealed what exactly the exclusive perks will entail. While there has yet to be an official release date for the game, it is guaranteed that it will be available by the end of the year.
