'The Mindy Project' Season 2 Cast Grows: Adam Pally Joins Show
Fox hit comedy "The Mindy Project" started it's second season this fall, and has a few high-profile guest stars who have already shown up. James Franco was on the first several episodes of the show and now Adam Pally of "Happy Endings" will be joining he show.
Pally recently sat down with TV Guide to discuss his role of new doctor Peter Prentiss on "The Mindy Project."
"[Peter is] smart and a really good gynecologist. He actually takes his job really seriously. But I think he's also a bit mischievous and always looking to party. And besides women's health, I don't think there's much else besides getting laid and doing beer bongs that he's too focused on," Pally said during his interview with TV Guide.
How will Peter get along with the rest of the doctors and office workers? It's fair to say he and Mindy won't hit it off swimmingly, and Pally sheds some light on Peter's relationship with some of the other doctors.
"Peter and Danny bump heads for about two seconds and then kind of instantly realize that they're east coast dudes and are good friends," the actor said.
Pally also discussed how, personally, he enjoys being on "The Mindy Project" because he is friends with Chris Messina, who plays Danny, in real life.
"Chris and I are old friends, so it's fun to go to work and see one of your old buddies from New York, bumming around," Pally said.
Pally is most well known for his acting on "Happy Endings," a sitcom that was cancelled for this season.
"The Mindy Project" airs on Fox Tuesdays at 9:30 p.m.
