'The Originals' season 3 plot news: Siblings Klaus and Elijah struggle
With the third season of "The Originals" starting this fall, it was revealed that the season will feature several action-packed scenes.
During the San Diego Comic-Con, actor Charles Michael Davis hinted that he has been getting buff for the upcoming season. He said, "I think it's a great thing because I was always bugging them to build a gym on the set so now one of our sets is a gym. There's going to be some cool fighting. Hopefully you'll get to see Marcel back to his original form."
He also shared that there will be new character introduced for the third season. He described them as "intelligent, dangerous, and sexy." Davis also explained that he enjoyed working with Gillies and Morgan, who orchestrated many pranks on set.
As for the rest of the cast, Klaus, played by Joseph Morgan, and Cami, played by Leah Pipes, will be presenting a new dynamic to their relationship. Cami will aid Klaus go through the aftermath of his decisions in season 2. He will also have to deal with his siblings' hatred toward him for almost killing them. The family will continue to have struggles between Klaus and Elijah, played by Daniel Gillies, because of Klaus' actions in the previous season. Julie Plec, the creator of the series, explained, "The Original family left last season very distant from each other. I'd say Klaus left last season [having] alienated pretty much everyone he's ever met before. So the minute this season there's a threat, the question is, is the family going to once again put aside their differences to stand together to fight a common enemy? Or did Klaus' actions shatter that bond too much, and will it keep them splintered?"
The Originals season 3 is slated to premiere on Oct. 8 on The CW.
