'The Originals' Season 4 Episode 3: Klaus and Hope Bond as a New Threat Goes After the Little Mikaelson
Klaus (Joseph Morgan) demands some time alone with his daughter Hope (Summer Montana) in the next episode of "The Originals" season 4, "Haunter of Ruins."
In this installment, Klaus will get "one day of peace" with Hope and will attempt to reconnect with her, which won't be easy after being apart for half a decade.
For Klaus, his focus in "The Originals" season 4, episode 3 is spending time with his daughter. This might be short-lived as Hope becomes a target of a mysterious witch who uses innocent children as sacrifice.

The new threat has made her presence known in New Orleans. While Marcel (Charles Michael Davis) thinks it is no more than a case of disappearance, Vincent (Yusef Gatewood) says it is something more heinous than that.
This witch is capturing children, whom she intends to use as sacrificial lambs for a yet-to-be-revealed plan. Vincent knows that whoever is doing this will want more, as shown in the "The Originals" season 4, episode 3 promo.
One of the targets of this witch happens to be Klaus and Hayley's (Phoebe Tonkin) child, but the former vows that he will protect his daughter no matter what.
Unfortunately, this new adversary might be something they could not handle. As teased by "The Originals" executive producer Michael Narducci teases that the latest threat is not something even the Mikaelsons won't be able to handle.
"Over the course of the season, the Mikaelsons are going to have to deal with the fact that there's this person," the EP told Entertainment Weekly.
"It's not a White Oak stake that can be burnt up or buried or thrown in the ocean — it's a person who they cannot defeat, but who can absolutely defeat them, and that's not going to be something that they're going to be happy about," he went on to say.
Whether or not this is the same creature terrorizing New Orleans by kidnapping children remains to be seen for now although speculations have it that the creature responsible is Vincent's ex, Eva, whose horrible secrets he reveals to Marcel in this episode.
"The Originals" season 4, episode 3, "Haunter of Ruins," airs Friday, March 31, at 8 p.m. ET on The CW.
