'The Originals' Season 4: 2 People Find Romance in the Face of Danger
Klaus (Joseph Morgan) and company may be in the face of a dangerous new threat in "The Originals" season 4, but that won't stop romance from flourishing.
"The Originals" executive producer, Michael Narducci, teased in a recent interview with E! Online that viewers will get to watch a romantic relationship come to life this season.
"There's one relationship that we haven't even begun to explore, which we are going to see blossom into something I'm extremely excited for the audience to see," the EP teased of "The Originals" season 4.
Of course, Narducci knows that the characters will be more consumed with fighting the evil that threatens New Orleans in "The Originals" season 4, but once the dust settles, things will take a drastic turn.
"At first, everybody's going to be so busy, they're not going to have the opportunity for date night, but especially as the season progresses, some things are going to have to shift in a very fundamental way, and I think the romantic element is explored in a big way, and I think there's some shocking surprises in store for the audience on that front," Narducci explained.
Unfortunately, Narducci did not provide any more details about who these people will be, but he was in the mood to tease another relationship, one that will be rekindled.
"There's another relationship that everybody just assumes is over, and that relationship is going to bounce back in a very major way," the EP teased.
Who or whatever the heroes are up against, "The Originals" season 4 will not reveal just yet, but what is guaranteed is that this new baddie is the most dangerous villain they will ever have to take on.
On the surface, this evil force is taking children hostage to make them sacrificial lambs for something. Hope (Summer Fontana) is one of the kids it will come after, making it all personal for Klaus.
"The Originals" season 4 airs every Friday on The CW.
