There are rumors going around that Caroline Forbes (Candice Accola) from the mother series "The Vampire Diaries" will do a crossover to the spinoff and possibly be the one to save Klaus from his impending doom.

It can be remembered that Caroline is considered to be Klaus' ultimate love. Their love-hate relationship actually started in TVD Season 3 before Klaus transferred to "The Originals". Before he left, Klaus only got to say goodbye to Caroline over the phone. This is the reason why fans are eagerly waiting for the crossover in order for the two to find either a closure or continuation in their relationship.

Meanwhile, actor Morgan has previously teased that "The Originals" Season 4 will be premised on betrayal where friends become enemies and vise versa. He also assured the fans of the series that his character will definitely be back in the new season. This means that Klaus being entombed inside a crypt with a Tunde blade punctured in his heart will not kill him. Whether it will be Caroline that can save him still remains to be seen.
With all the betrayal talks in "The Originals" Season 4, reports say that at least one of the Michaelson siblings will betray one other sibling or even the whole family. Rebekah (Claire Holt) has always felt that her life is supposed to be without her crazy family even after the five-year time jump. She might be able to bond with her brother Kol (Nathaniel Buzolic) over this since he feels the same. It still remains to be seen if they can betray their whole family simply because of how they both feel.
