'The Originals' Season 5 Spoilers: First Look at Hope as a Young Lady in New Set Photos
With the filming for "The Originals" season 5 already in full-swing, fans are treated with their first look at Klaus (Joseph Morgan) and Hayley's (Phoebe Tonkin) all grown-up daughter in new set photos.
The teenaged Hope will be played by Danielle Rose Russell. In the photos shared on Twitter, the young actress can be seen in character as she stood by a parked car with Roman, her love interest played by Jedidiah Goodacre.
Not much can be taken away from the photos although a number of of them suggest that the couple will hit a bump in their relationship come "The Originals" season 5.
Russell's casting was announced back in July. Not long after, she shared a selfie with her onscreen mom Tonkin, who also posted a photo of them as she gushed about the drastic evolution her character went through over the years.
If you're on a The CW show long enough you go from being the meanest girl in high school to grounding the naughtiest.
Goodacre's casting as Roman in "The Originals" season 5 was announced last month alongside the announcement of "Reign" alum Torrance Coombs joining the show as Hayley's "friend with benefits."
Roman is a vampire who takes interest in Hope's family after a "mysterious incident." This could potentially put her in serious danger since her safety hinges on her staying as far away from the Mikaelsons as possible.
Coombs, on the other hand, will play the role of a flirty Irish chef named Declan with whom Hayley gets involved physically and perhaps romantically too.
"The Originals" season 4 ended with the Mikaelsons separated from one another in an effort to close The Hollow for good and keep Hope out of harm's way.
The youngest Mikaelson is currently in Mystic Falls, where she enrolled in the school built by Caroline (Candice King) and Alaric (Matt Davis) in "The Vampire Diaries."
"The Originals" season 5 is set to premiere early next year and will take place eight years after the events of the previous season.
