'The Real Housewives of Atlanta': Cynthia Bailey Is Staying, Network Says

"The Real Housewives of Atlanta" celebrity housewife, Cynthia Bailey, has not been fired from the show, and is staying on, Bravo made clear last Tuesday. A network representative repudiated earlier reports that the reality show is letting Bailey go.

In an exclusive report, a Bravo spokesperson answered questions for Too Fab about the reported news that Bailey will be fired from "The Real Housewives of Atlanta." According to the network's representative, the claims that have been circulating on gossip sites are not true at all. "There is no truth to this story," the spokesperson told Too Fab last Tuesday, March 14.

The reports have surfaced on gossip sites that Bailey will be leaving the show, and an earlier report by TMZ posted back in February was mentioned as a possible reason. According to the report, Bravo very much wanted to bring Nene Leakes and Kim Zolciak, who are infamous for stirring up drama for the show, to make the 10th season a more memorable run, according to insiders. While there has been no official offers yet for the two ex-housewives, the pair has expressed interest, according to TMZ. Zolciak guesting for the show near the end of season 9 seems to lend support to the news.

The report has been cited by rumor sites as the possible reason that Bravo would consider making room in the show, and that Cynthia Bailey is being considered to be the one to have to leave to make the return of Nene Leakes and Kim Zolciak a reality.

According to Bet, however, Bravo has already come forward to quash these speculations. A source familiar with the production of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" added that Cynthia Bailey is still with the show "at this time."

"The Real Housewives of Atlanta" airs on Bravo every Sunday, 8:00 p.m. EDT.
