'The Real Housewives of Atlanta' News: Eva Marcille Confirmed as Newest Cast Member

Eva Marcille is officially on board "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" season 10.

The "America's Next Top Model" alum has joined the reality series, according to reports. Marcille, 32, will not be a full-time cast member though, as she will only be a "friend of the Housewives."

Marcille is best known for being the cycle 3 winner of the longest-running fashion reality TV series in 2004. From modeling, she crossed over to the acting industry when she joined "The Young and the Restless." She portrayed the role of Tyra Hamilton from 2008 to 2009.

NeNe Leakes is also heading back to the franchise, as well as original cast member Kim Zolciak-Biermann. She was last seen as a guest star on the season 9 finale, in which she had a huge confrontation with Kenya Moore. Zolciak-Biermann recently caught up with Entertainment Tonight and she shared her thoughts on reuniting with her former castmates.

"These girls are fun," said the reality star. "They're successful. They're mothers. It's fun ... it's a totally different vibe than filming with your family. So, I really am enjoying myself, honestly. And getting back with Sheree [Whitfield], we've been close for years and years and years. So, it's always fun to film with her."

Filming for season 10 is currently underway, but Moore's new husband Marc Daly still has not appeared on any episode of the show. Sources working close to the show told TMZ that Daly's reluctance to participate could cost Moore her job.

Bravo allegedly wants Moore to convince her spouse to film scenes leading up to the annual cast trip but he did not want to. As a result, Moore's invite to the Housewives' Spanish getaway was taken back by the network.

"The Real Housewives of Atlanta" season 10 premieres Sunday, Nov. 5, at 8 p.m. EDT on Bravo.
