'The Real Housewives of Atlanta' News: NeNe Leakes Says She Never Said Porsha Williams Should Be Fired

The drama is only heating up on "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" with the return of NeNe Leakes, but the reality star recently cleared up a rumor involving co-star Porsha Williams.

While appearing on "Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen," Leakes was asked about Williams' accusation that she wanted her to be fired from the reality show. Leakes clarified that she never said those words specifically and that she was merely answering questions from her followers.

Leakes also told Williams the same thing in the premiere episode of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" season 10 recently. She tells her that she never said "fired," though that is what she essentially meant.

"I never used those words," Leakes told host Andy Cohen. "So let's be very, very clear about what was said. Now, we're all on this show to give our opinions, are we not? And so when my fans call in to ask me questions, I'm going to answer."

Leakes and Williams have not had a good relationship for a long time now. Leakes even acknowledged this in the premiere episode, saying that she has not spoken to Williams in about two years. In May, Leakes sat down with Cohen and gave her opinion on the matter between Williams and co-star Kandi Burruss.

"Porsha is not innocent at all. As I've said to so many people, if you and I decide to rob a bank together, if I mastermind it, and you carry out the plan, and we went before a judge, we both would be sentenced to life in prison," Leakes said. "Porsha is just as guilty as Phaedra."

The premiere episode of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" ended with Leakes walking away from Williams after being forced to confront each other. There is no doubt that more drama is in store for viewers this season, with Leakes' feud with Kim Zolciak-Bierman also getting some screen time.

"The Real Housewives of Atlanta" airs Sundays, at 8 p.m. EST on Bravo.
