'The Real Housewives of Atlanta' Season 7: Episode 21 Recap 'Chasing Nay-Nay'
Last Sunday on "The Real Housewives of Atlanta," the housewives are back in Atlanta fresh from their peacemaking trip to the Philippines, and the ladies got together to give back to their community.
Phaedra, inspired by her Filipino tour guide — a widow who struggles to support her five children — and her own husband's absence thanks to an eight-year prison sentence, says that she wants to give back to the community. She decides to do something to encourage young boys to be better men and good fathers in the future, so she hosts an event called Save Our Sons. Almost all of the ladies showed up to help, except Kandi, who had an appointment with her fertility doctor. Even NeNe took some time out of her busy schedule to help out.
At the event, Phaedra gives a speech and she tells everyone, "I am only a vessel, and I thank God he gave me a vision to do this."
Meanwhile, the rest of the ladies are in the kitchen and preparing lunch for the audience. As the housewives prepare plates, Claudia calls out NeNe for her exit from the counselling session with Dr. Jeff.
NeNe is having none of it and tells Claudia that the video message that they recorded for her was so fake.
"In my opinion, you all have your own personal issues," NeNe says. "Everybody here has done wrong. It was unfair, in my opinion, to point fingers as if someone was the captain of the ship for doing wrong when all of you guys have had your hands in dirt."
NeNe just wants to focus at the task, but Claudia and Cynthia continue to hound her about the failed counselling session. NeNe tries to maintain her cool and finally lets Claudia have it—and they end up arguing loud enough for the guests to hear.
"You gon' have to back up …You're not important," said NeNe. "You're not a friend of mine. I don't care if I walk out on you." And NeNe walks out of the kitchen.
"The Real Housewives of Atlanta" airs on Sundays at 8 p.m. on Bravo.
