'The Real Housewives of Atlanta' News: Episode 6 Spoilers for 'Make-ups and Breakdowns'
On last Sunday's episode of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta," NeNe and Cynthia reconcile, Cynthia goes back to the runway, while Phaedra is back in business as she prepares to win a case for her friend.
In the episode titled "Make-Ups and Breakdowns," last week's confrontation continues as NeNe and Cynthia try to figure out what went wrong with their friendship. The rest of the ladies head out of the restaurant to escape the drama, and Cynthia tells NeNe that the reason for their undoing stems from NeNe insulting her husband. NeNe breaks down and cries and tells Cynthia that she would have changed whatever the problem was in order to continue their friendship. Cynthia then wonders if they went too far with their feud, and she says that she wants the two of them to "continue to be friends and support each other." The two share a warm embrace.
Though Cynthia is optimistic that she and NeNe could repair their friendship, Cynthia's husband Peter is upset that she wants to make up with NeNe after everything that she did. He warns Cynthia that NeNe had better "respect the friendship" this time around or else he doesn't want to hear NeNe's name in his house again.
Meanwhile, Kandi visits her husband Todd in Manhattan while he's working on a project. He takes her to the Bronx and has her dress as an Around the Way Girl for a day. She rides the subway, eats a slice of pizza, and trades in her fancy sneakers for Timberlands.
Cynthia is also in New York to walk in a runway show for her friend Kithe Brewster's line during New York Fashion Week. Cynthia is feeling a bit insecure as she's packed on a few pounds since her heyday, and in addition to that, Kithe tells her that her walk is outdated. The designer then asks a professional model to show Cynthia how everyone walks the runway these days. But despite her fears, Cynthia manages to open and close the runway show flawlessly.
Putting her marriage woes aside, Phaedra gets back to work as she gets her first legal case in a long time. Her friend Derek J walks in with a summons, and he's accused of stealing an expensive weave from a client and replacing it with tracks that he bought for a cheaper price. Phaedra goes to his salon to gather evidence and tells him, "You cannot be the hair burglar of the South" and assures him that she can win the case.
"I don't lose nothing but weight," she says.
"The Real Housewives of Atlanta" airs on Sundays at 8 p.m. on Bravo.
