'The Real Housewives of Atlanta' Season 7 News: Recap of Episode 7 'Nice to Metria'
On last Sunday's episode of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta," Cynthia begins collaborating with Demetria McKinney, Kenya meets with producer Roger Bobb and discovers a surprising revelation, and Apollo shows up at an event to confront Phaedra about their marriage issues.
"Nice to Metria" starts with Kandi's Aunt Nora hosting a cookout and Kandi wants to enjoy the day without all the drama. But Mama Joyce is angry at Kandi and thinks that she didn't appreciate her efforts to improve the house that Kandi gave her. Though she didn't do anything wrong, Kandi ends up apologizing to her mother.
Across town, Cynthia and Peter are talking to their friend Demetria and they hear some rumors about Kenya and Demetria's boyfriend, Roger Bobb. Apparently Kenya and Roger are said to be dating each other and Demetria feels like Kenya should be the one to deny the rumors.
However, Kenya was only photographed with Roger once and it's strictly business between the two of them. She even tried to play matchmaker and told her friend Claudia should date him. Cynthia pipes up and tells Kenya and Claudia about Demetria. Kenya says that nothing happened and that Roger has dated her friends over the years.
Later, Kenya goes to Roger's and asks him about Demetria. Roger says that he and Demetria are together but then they've been on and off for several years. To clear up any misunderstanding, Roger invites Kenya to Demetria's party to celebrate the release of her new music video, and he thinks that the two women will get along.
At the party, the two women meet and luckily were able to see past the Roger situation. Then, Apollo shows up and hones in on Phaedra. He wants to talk to her about their relationship and what's going to happen to them. He says that Phaedra doesn't tell him that she loves him, so he thinks that he doesn't have a reason to return home if he's not going to get some affection from her. Phaedra thinks that it's entirely inappropriate for him to make a scene like this.
"The Real Housewives of Atlanta" airs on Sundays at 8 p.m. on Bravo.
