'The Real Housewives of Atlanta' season 8 cast news: More heat despite NeNe's absence

"The Real Housewives of Atlanta" (RHOA) has been renewed for its eighth season, albeit without NeNe Leakes now. But that does not mean that there will not be any less heated episodes in the reality show.

Bravo has remained largely mum regarding details on RHOA season 8. While they have started filming for the next installment, spoilers have surfaced with the help of insiders and bystanders' snooping eyes and ears, according to She Knows.

Sources say that even without NeNe Leakes, RHOA will still be able to turn up the heat in the upcoming season. Among the things that fans ought to look forward to include the money-related problems of Kenya Moore and Sheree Whitfield, the report details.

"This was definitely a hard decision for me," Ecumenical News quotes Leakes' comment on her departure from RHOA. "But my contract is up and I just think this is the right time."

NeNe and Claudia Jordan's departure left the Bravo network with plenty of wiggle room in the cash department. Because of that, Moore and Whitfield, who has just returned to the show, think they are entitled to additional money. This issue reportedly will lead to a catfight that will push Sheree to drench Kenya's face with a drink. All this commotion will happen during the launching of Cynthia Bailey's sunglasses line.

This kind of feud, however, is not uncommon in the world of Real Housewives. Since shallow friendships are as common as catfights in their world, the issue between Moore and Whitfield will be projected to end soon, the report adds.

However, one surprising brawl will happen between Porsha Williams and Cynthia Bailey. This fight will reportedly end with Williams being sent to the hospital after sustaining a kick in the tummy from her lady opponent.

Meanwhile, Marlo Hampton will be back to stir some more chaos into the scene. There will also be lots of newcomers and fans will have to stay tuned to see which of them becomes the peace promoter and which of them are the troublemakers.

The premiere date for The Real Housewives of Atlanta season 8 has yet to be confirmed and announced.
