'The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' Spoilers, News: Erika Girardi Explains Reason for Her Guarded Personality

Viewers will finally get to learn more about Erika Girardi in the upcoming episode of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills."

In a sneak peek for the installment titled "Sweet Georgia Jayne," the newest cast member, Dorit Kemsley, reveals that she has a hard time reading and engaging with Erika due to their personalities being on the opposite side of the spectrum.

Erika acknowledges how other people perceive her to be, but it doesn't mean that she doesn't care about others.

"We already know. I mean, everyone already says that I'm guarded and controlled," she admits, but adds that it doesn't mean that she isn't "sympathetic or empathetic or that I don't hear you or I don't relate. It's just that when it comes to me sharing back, I watch and I measure."

In her confessional interview, Erika explains that her mother was very trusting, which oftentimes resulted in heartbreak. Recalling a particular moment in her childhood when her mother was crying after a man had left her, Erika told herself that she would never be like that.

These experiences, in turn, also molded how she was raised by her mother.

"My mother was very hard on me when I was a child. I think she was raising me how the world was treating her," she says.

Later in the episode, Erika heads home to Georgia and has an emotional conversation with her mother.

"I'm accused of being cold because I don't cry," Erika says, as her mother assures her that these experiences have made her tough.

Meanwhile, Lisa Rinna has her own conversation with Eileen Davidson. After looking back at the whole experience involving Kim Richards' sobriety, Lisa finally admits that she might have said that the former "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" cast member was "close to death." Nevertheless, Lisa says that she meant well and that her own experiences with death have made her sensitive to the issue.

Also in the episode, Lisa Vanderpump's invitations to Hong Kong get out of hand during Kyle Richards' party.

Season 7 of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" airs every Tuesday at 9 p.m. EST on Bravo.
