'The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' Yolanda Foster Forced to Leave Reunion Show as She Battles Lyme Disease
Yolanda Foster's current battle with Lyme disease forced her to leave the reunion show of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" earlier than the other ladies.
Foster was featured in the first of three reunion episodes looking very tired, and at one point host Andy Cohen had to ask her if she was feeling alright.
"I need to go to bed," the former model admitted before standing up and hugging the other ladies goodbye.
During the show, Foster was in tears when Cohen brought up her illness. "Do you really wanna talk about that?" she asked.
Cohen handed her some tissues and told her "I think people really wanna know how you're doing. People care about you."
Foster previously wrote in her Bravo blog that she has "lost the ability to write, read, or watch TV because I can't process information or any stimulation for that matter."
"Just trying to weather the storm, you know," she told Cohen. "My brain just needs quiet and silence and I just pray every day that maybe tomorrow is a better day."
The reality star revealed that she has traveled to South Korea for alternative treatments.
"There they have the freedom to work with stem cells—you can't get those treatments here—and I think with Lyme it takes antibiotics but it also takes a lot of holistic treatment to balance it out," she said.
Foster has recently taken to her Bravo blog to reveal that she, her husband David and her son have all moved to a smaller apartment "in order to have a more manageable scope of responsibilities while I recover slowly and learn to take life one day at a time."
"The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" reunion show continues at 8 p.m. on April 7 and 14 on Bravo.
