The Real Housewives of New York Season 9 News, Updates, Spoilers: Sonja Morgan Reveals She's 'Taking a Break' from Fellow RHONY star Ramona Singer
Bravo's reality tv show "The Real Housewives of New York" (RHONY) Season 8 had been an emotional roller coaster for its stars. From the discovery of Dorinda Medley's alleged cocaine use to the affairs of Luann de Lesseps' fiance, it's been disaster after disaster for the RHONY ladies. So they can't be blamed if it's taking them long to recover from the battle scars - something which Sonja Morgan heartily confessed to.
As "The Real Housewives of New York" gears up for a potentially equally charged Season 9, Sonja Morgan talked about where she now stood with her fellow RHONY ladies. She revealed that she's yet to hear from them following her Broadway debut on "Sex Tips for Straight Women from a Gay Man," and seemed a little saddened by that. She said she's always been supportive of her gals' ventures and interests, so the lack of reception for her Broadway debut had been a little disappointing.

The RHONY star also talked about Skinnygirl empress Bethenny Frankel, with whom she'd had a fight over during Season 8. Her daughter Quincy was key to their reconciliation, and Morgan couldn't be any more relieved that she hadn't burned that bridge yet. 8. She's determined to keep the friendship as she understands what Frankel is going through with the divorce.
But Sonja Morgan need not worry. Apart from the divorce, Bethenny Frankel is doing well post-RHONY. Even as "The Real Housewives of New York" Season 9 has yet to get the greenlight, Bravo producer Andy Cohen had given her her own show. It's unclear, however, if she's starring or producing the yet-untitled reality series. This amid rumors that she might be quitting RHONY following her fallouts with several of its cast.
Singer and de Lesseps
But while she's patched things up with Bethenny Frankel, Sonja Morgan admitted to have already benched fellow RHONY star Ramona Singer as a friend for years already. Morgan was hurt when Singer offhandedly said she didn't order anything from Morgan's collection because it took eight week. She likened her to a Labrador that jumps on her and rips her apart at the same time, and has since decided to "take a break" from her co-RHONY star every now and then.
Ramona Singer and Bethenny Frankel were involved in the outing of Luann de Lesseps' fiance's affairs, which had been a pivotal point during "The Real Housewives of New York" Season 8 reunion episodes. Sonja Morgan is a good friend of de Lesseps, and was one of the few who were invited to her bachelorette party. But the RHONY star did admit that sometimes, when it came to men, de Lesseps had blinders on.
