'The Real Housewives Of New York' Update: Teresa Giudice Freed From Prison; Kristen Taekman Reveals Reason For Moving On

Teresa Giudice of hit reality-TV franchise "The Real Housewives of New York" is finally out of prison. According to a report by NBC New York, the reality star arrived home on Wednesday, where she had an emotional reunion with her husband, Joe Giudice, and four daughters, Gia, Milania, Audriana and Gabriella.

The 43-year-old mother was sentenced to 15 months of serving time after being charged guilty for bankruptcy fraud and conspiracy. Driving from Danbury Federal Correctional Institution in Connecticut, Teresa arrived in her Montville, N.J., house by 9 a.m. with her attorney, James Leonard Jr., who was the one who drove her home.

According to NY Daily News, her spouse was spotted waiting for her in the driveway, with his arms crossed and their home gym in the background. But aside from him, a Lexus SUV adorned with a big red bow was also sitting in the driveway, also waiting for her.

The Giudice family planned to spend their Christmas Eve at Teresa's brother's (Joe Gorga) house, also located in Montville. From there, she will be making time for other members of her family, Leonard told Bravo.

In other news, while one star has returned, another has left. Reality star Kristen Taekman departed the show in October, saying that she's moving on after two seasons on "The Real Housewives of New York." In a report by Fox News, Kristen revealed to FOX411 the real reason for quitting the show.

According to her, she has had a great two-year run and it was a lot of fun for her. "All good things come to an end; onward and upward onto new things. The beauty of it is I am still really good friends with all of the ladies, I just don't have any of the drama anymore," stated Kristen.

In August, Kristen's husband of 10 years, Josh Taekman, was exposed to be a member of the hacked cheating website Ashley Madison. In the statement he sent out via US Weekly, he apologized to his friends and family. But sources say that Kristen has already moved on from the scandal and is busy with her business ventures.
