'The Real Housewives of Orange County' News: Kelly Dodd Calls It Quits With Husband Michael

"The Real Housewives of Orange County" star Kelly Dodd is calling it quits with her husband of 11 years, Michael Dodd. According to the reality star, they have faced problems for years and she has had enough.

Five years ago, Kelly planned to file for divorce from her husband but changed her mind. Now, it looks like she is very certain about her decision to put an end to their marriage.

In a recent interview with the Daily Mail, the 42-year-old star said: "Our marriage is over, I'm out of there! We've had problems for years and I've had enough. I'm done with our marriage."

According to Kelly, their case was just one where "two people can't get along," no matter how hard they tried. She said it was better for them if they would live separately and also focus on their daughter.

Kelly went on to reveal that they had not been "good together" and that they would likely be better off divorced but friends.

"Right now we are both miserable and it's not good for either one of us, let alone our daughter," she said.

Later on, Kelly added: "Over the past several years we've had our ups and downs, and lately it's been mostly downs."

Kelly's divorce announcement should not come as a big shocker to fans. Together since 2004, they were reportedly often seen having arguments on the set and sometimes on camera. They originally decided to separate back in 2012, but eventually changed their minds and decided to patch things up with each other for the sake of their daughter, Julie, who was then 10 years old.

Kelly also revealed that the divorce case in 2012 was still open, so her plan was to simply reinstate that open case. She said she wanted to get out of their marriage soon and would just deal with their financials in due course.
