'The Reflection' Episode 12 Spoilers: Japanese Girls to Turn Things Around in Upcoming Finale?
The end is coming and mysteries will hopefully be resolved in the 12th and final episode of the Japanese superhero anime series, "The Reflection." Now that the girls from Japan have finally joined the fray, how will their unique abilities affect the ultimate conclusion this ongoing battle between good and evil?
It may have taken a while, but the penultimate episode has finally shed some light on what the series is at its very core. The Reflection has happened, and its Dark and Brighstar effects could never be reversed. However, the oppression that the Reflected are getting from those who have remained normal is something that Wraith hopes to put a stop on this by forming his very own brotherhood of Reflected people to take over the world.
One other shocking revelation from the previous episode was that Wraith and Eleanor are one and the same, owing to the fact that Eleanor was apparently hit by both the light and smoke that filled the world during the Reflection.
However, this is one fact that still begs more elaboration, which fans are hoping they will get as soon as the final episode rolls around.
There is also the matter with the Reflected Japanese girls, who has only been shown in snippets throughout the series but has now found themselves right at the center of the war that's about to break out.
What role will they be playing in the upcoming battle and whose side will they be on? What kinds of superhero abilities will they be displaying and how will this affect the overall outcome of the battle between good and evil?
Also, will X-On and his crew succeed in bringing Wraith and his ideals down, or could this only be the beginning of a much larger threat to humanity's existence?
"The Reflection" airs on Saturdays at 11 p.m. JST on NHK. Information on other broadcast schedules and online resources can be found on the series' official site. Episodes are also available in selected regions outside Japan via Crunchyroll.
