'The Royals' Season 2, Episode 6 Recap: Eleanor Finds Out About Jasper and Mandy's Scheme

As if the plotting scheme from last week that looked to rob the princess wasn't enough, Sunday's episode seemed a little too much as Eleanor (Alexandra Park) discovered what Mandy (Sarah Dumont) and Jasper (Tom Austen) were planning to do.

For the most part, Eleanor almost canceled her birthday party with twin brother Liam (William Moseley) since she never really wanted the extravagant parties that she and her twin were always given.

Queen Helena (Elizabeth Hurley) decided to boycott the event, and Mandy, who happens to be Eleanor's lady love, threw the twins a party with a fun dunk tank that is actually part of the scheme.

While Eleanor is very happy and deeply touched with Mandy's thoughtfulness, she didn't know that Mandy was just trying to get her all too drunk so she can get the Koh-i-Noor diamond that was famed around the globe.

Of course, fate played into Mandy's hands and she convinced Eleanor to wear the diamonds. She even managed to rob the princess of the acclaimed stones, but a twist of fate turned the tables and Jasper showed up to lead Eleanor into catching the thief.

With Mandy caught in the act of escaping with the diamonds, Jasper had to spill the beans. "We came here to rob you," Jasper told Eleanor. Out of pure disgust, Eleanor then handed the diamonds to Mandy and the liar sped off.

Liam is elsewhere having the time of his life and not knowing that his twin has been robbed, broken hearted, and lied on.

It is unclear how things will turn out now that Eleanor is very single. Rumors suggest that Jasper may take the opportunity to make the princess believe that he is the one for her and not Mandy, who happens to be his partner in crime.
