'The Sims 4' celebrates its first year
To celebrate the first year of "The Sims 4," EA games released statistics revealing the gamers' activities for the last year.
The Sims 4 was previously released on PC last Sept. 2 by game publisher EA games. It was revealed that since then, 92.8 million Sims were created.
From the Sims created, it was reported that 27.5 million got married, which was more than the 1.7 million breakups made in the game.
With that, it was also shared that there was a total of 235 million woohoos in the last year, which is the Sims term for sex. In addition, 165 million Sims also had babies.
Fortunately, the number of Sims deaths only amounted to 500,000, with 184,000 caused by the Cow Plants.
To keep the game exciting, the developer has released several expansions throughout the year.
The upcoming expansion is titled "Get Together," which will enhance the way Sims interact with their in-game friends. The expansions reads, "Hanging out with groups of friends makes Get Together feel truly unique. Your Sim's in-game friends will act a lot like your real ones – whether you're going for a dip in the Natural Pools along the bluffs or just lounging around in the pub."
Another new feature of the game is the formation of club. The description reads, "Your Sims will be able to join different Clubs, each with their own interests, personalities, and styles. They have defined behaviors that dictate how they tend to act, including how they treat other Sims, and what they do or don't like to do."
It is expected to release this November.
The most recent expansion released for The Sims 4 was titled "Cool Kitchen Stuff." Released last Aug. 11, the expansion focuses on Sims interested in cuisine and cooking. It added new meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, as well as several equipment and appliances that improve the Sims' cooking experience. The expansion also featured an Ice Cream Maker that is able to make up to 30 flavors.
