'The Sims 4' DLC Rumors: Can We Expect Town Life's Restaurants and Markets in March?
A certain comment by one Sims Guru sparked the rumor that an upcoming "The Sims 4" DLC would bring restaurants, markets, and the like.
"The Sims 4" community is expecting a game pack next March. They've even started speculating on what the upcoming DLC will include, all thanks to Maxis Producer Dave Miotke's response to a request raised by a Sims blogger.
When Twitter user TheSimScraper asked Miotke for another GP and make the announcement soon, Miotke responded that news about a new GP will come soon. "The Sims 4" fans were quick to point out that his words are hinting at the future DLC's content.
"Hang in there! I know you're hungry for news & I can't wait to serve up some fresh info soon!," Miotke teased.
Fans have taken note of the word "hungry" and the phrase "serve up some fresh info" to refer to restaurants and town markets that offer fresh food, something that EA has been apparently considering adding to the game. Last year, the publisher sent a survey asking a select group of respondents on their feedback regarding seven potential ideas it was toying with.
The particular proposal that contained these food-related stuff is called Town Life. In addition to pop-up restaurants and markets, Town Life was described as having coffee shops and community events that asked players to buy fresh groceries from farmers' markets and have a fancy dinner at an exclusive restaurant, for example.
Although nothing's confirmed yet, Sims Community Staff Member Tatiana believes Miotke's tweet is a "pretty solid hint." She says the carefully chosen words are "flashing neon signs" and that the hint is very obvious indeed.
EA recently released "The Sims 4" Romantic Garden Stuff Pack. As indicated by the expansion pack's title, the DLC includes items that will help players create a romantic garden, including a brand-new Park Venue called The Lost Gardens of Healing, the Whispering Well, and a new Fountain of Gluteus Maximus. There's also a wide array of flowers, spitting lion fountains, and Doric columns plus new clothing to help Sims get in the mood for Love Month.
