'The Sims 4: Get Together' Will Be Out Dec. 8, Has New DJ Skills, Dancing Moves, Clubs & More

"Sims 4" fans will be relieved that Electronic Arts has finally announced that December 8 will be the date for the launch of the next expansion, "The Sims 4: Get Together." The expansion will feature new DJ skills and players can form their own clubs and have a dress code. Players can also polish their dancing skills and explore the new world of Windenburg.

The senior producer at EA, Lyndsay Pearson, explained the delay by saying that developer Maxis is adding more polish and depth to the popular simulation game.

Pearson said in a blog post, "As you might have guessed from the name, this expansion is about your Sims getting together in really exciting new ways. Your enthusiasm and feedback inspired us to work even harder to make sure that this pack is everything it could be. So we've decided to take a little more time to work on the expansion pack. We think this time will allow us to make the experience even bigger, better, and cooler."

In this expansion, 'Clubs' is the new and exciting feature that will be added. Since clubs usually have a favourite hangout, the developers are also giving players the choice of where their Club prefers to hang out. It would be like creating their own signature spot within a world. Club members can have their own space like a private room in a café. This can be customised to create a biker bar for your local motorcycle club.

Sims having similar purpose can form groups, create social circles or sign up for a particular club. For example, bike-loving Sims can create a biker bar for their local motorcycle club.

Just like in the real world, there will be certain rules & regulations set down by the Club's leader. There could be a dress code within the club and Sims can change their behaviour to resonate with the Club's philosophy.

Sims can now explore the new world of Windenburg. According to the Inquisitr, the expansion pack has added new gameplay objects like Pumpkin Carving Station and the Spooky Candy Bowl for Halloween Season.

Sims can create pumpkin displays but will have to guard them from the Sims who will be lurking about to smash your pumpkins. Sims can also jazz up their Halloween Party with the Spooky Candy Bowl option.

The total cost of the packs in the "The Sims 4: Get Together" expansion comes to $39.99.
