Pets will finally be added to "The Sims 4" next month, and players will be able to tinker with their appearances in different ways.

Developers shared more details about the creation suite that players will be able to use to adjust how the pets will look like in the game.

Players can apply adjustments to different elements of the pet's face.

As developers detailed in a recent post on the game's official website, a pet's ears and eyes can be adjusted, as well as its snout.

Since fur patterns can vary significantly from one pet to the next, developers are looking to feature that in the game too.

Players will even be allowed to design the fur patterns exactly how they want to, and to help them out, developers are also making stencils available. The stencils are designed to make designing a fur pattern easier and faster.

Numerous elements that can be used to put a pet together will be found in the "Cats & Dogs" expansion pack, and "The Sims 4" players will be able to sort through them using a search tool.

Pet costumes are also included in the expansion pack, which means the player-created furry companions can look special when they are outdoors.

Beyond how they look, the pets coming to the game can also be different in terms of how they act around their owners.

Detailed in a separate post, pets will behave in certain ways depending on what they want to get, whether that is some attention from their owners or maybe some food.

Every now and then, the cats and dogs in the game are also expected to act in ways that are so different that players may remember those moments for a long time.

The eagerly anticipated "Cats & Dogs" expansion pack is set to be released for "The Sims 4" on Nov. 10.
