'The Sims 4' System Requirements for Mac Gameplay

The minimum requirements for being able to play the game on the Mac begins with a stable Internet connection. Having one is needed for product activation.
The Windows operating system is also a must for gamers looking to play the game. Players can choose from different versions of Windows, including XP, Vista, 7, 8 or 8.1.
In terms of the game's demand for a kind of processor, a 1.8 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, AMD Athlon 64 Dual-Core 4000+ or anything equal to it is needed. For computers with built-in chipsets, the game demands a 2.0 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 2.0 GHz AMD Turion 64 X2 TL-62 or anything matching those.
At least 2 GB of RAM is also a prerequisite for the game. A hard drive with at least 10 GB of available space is also a necessity.
A video card with at least 128 MB of RAM is also a specific need for the game. A video card capable of supporting Pixel Shader 3.0 is also a requirement.
Having a sound card which is usable with DirectX 9.0c is also a primary specification of the game.
Keyboard, mouse and DVD-ROM are all must-haves for the game with the latter only being used for installation purposes.
To get an enhanced experience out of playing "The Sims 4," upgrading to Intel Core i5 or something more advanced would be ideal. 4 GB of RAM will also improve the experience of playing.
Using the video card NVIDIA GTX 650 or another more updated variant will also add to the overall gaming experience.
"The Sims 4" will officially be released for the MAC on Feb. 17.
