'The Strain' season 2 episode 10 spoilers and episode 9 recap: The search for the true owner of the Lumen begins
In the upcoming episode of "The Strain" titled "The Assassin," the official synopsis reads, Justine gets in trouble with the mayor, while Eph and Dutch work together against the Master's ally. Meanwhile, Setrakian searches for the Lumen's true owner.
In the promo for the episode, everything falls to pieces as a curse might cripple the world. A sniper will take out someone vital, while more clues about the Lumen surface as the risks increase tenfold. The end is near.
The preceding episode began at a pier in Manhattan where Captain Messina found Eichorst on his boat. Messina was being hired by the latter to ferry people into Red Hook. Eichorst gave him money as payment. Messina is worried about the security in Red Hook, but the former told him that is not a problem.

Eichorst than visited Kelly who was being comforted by one of the feelers and he started talking to her about her pain. She was saddened by the fact that she was not able to get her son back. He told her that he had a plan and that she will get her son back soon as they show the world their true power.
In the meantime, Fet and the others have hidden once more. Fet secured the place, while Zack apologized for opening the door in the first place. Nora wanted Justine's help since she had a lot of resources. Fet decided to check in on Dutch and the gang agreed to meet up at Justine's place.
Fet and Nora went to Dutch's place and they asked her if she would like to come along to Justine's place with them. Dutch did not join them. Meanwhile, Justine looked over her security checkpoints as she planned to take over more of Brooklyn.
Eichorst and Kelly arrived in Red Hook as he infected Messina right after the boat docked. A battled in Red Hook ensued, while there was no power. The Master saved Eichorst and Kelly, while the gang celebrated the temporary win.
