'The Strain' season 2, episode 12: Will this be the end for Eph and Nora?
After the thrilling episode 11, fans can't simply wait to know what will happen next in the upcoming episode of "The Strain" season 2. Episode 12, which is entitled "Fallen Light," will be the season's second to the last episode, before the finale on Oct. 4.
Eph (Corey Stoll) and the others survived another attack once again on one of their own, and the Occido Lumen is now up for grabs. The fight against the Master is now heating up as the season is nearing its conclusion.
According to International Business Times, episode 12 will have Eph forced into making tough choices when dealing with the people he cares. He has to choose between the safety of New York City and the safety of his son Zach (Max Charles).

In this episode, viewers will also see his relationship with Nora (Mia Maestro) reach its breaking point. This was hinted toward the end of the last episode, which is entitled "Dead End," when the two exchanged a meaningful look in the car.
Nora questioned Eph's love for her, after seeing Fet (Kevin Durand) save Dutch (Ruta Gedmintas), and risked everything because of his love for the former hacker. "I don't think you would have done this for me," Nora said to the CDC head. Viewers are anxious to know if Eph will fight for Nora or just let their relationship go.
The teaser video for the upcoming episode showed Eph trying to come up with a new strategy to get his bio-weapon to the masses, in order to finally stop the strigoi for once. Eichorst (Richard Sammel) and the Master may still have something else planned, even if Eph and company were able to save Dutch. In the video, Eichorst was seen talking with Eldritch Palmer (Jonathan Hyde), and claiming that victory is within their grasp.
The Strain season 2 episode 12 will broadcast this Sept. 27 on FX.
