'The Vampire Diaries' Season 7 Episode 6 Spoilers: Lily Introduces Her One True Love At A Dinner Party
The CW's hit supernatural drama TV series "The Vampire Diaries" Season 7 returns this week with a brand new episode that will see Lily hosting a dinner party that will make a huge impact on the Salvatore brothers. Meanwhile, talks of another crossover with the show's offshoot series, "The Originals," have been given an update.
The synopsis posted over at The Futon Critic for the episode titled "Best Served Cold," said that after reuniting with her former love, Julian, Lily will host a dinner party. The leader of the Heretics saw the occasion as a perfect opportunity to introduce Julian to the brothers, Damon and Stefan, as well as to declare a truce between her faction and the residents of Mystic Falls.
But the most interesting part of Julian's introduction is the fact that both the Salvatores hate him so much that they are more than eager to get a piece of him. For one, there's Stefan who finds out that the character in question was the one responsible for what happened to Valerie and their unborn child.
For Damon's part, it was revealed to him that Lily was behind the casting of the dark spell that linked Elena to Bonnie. Considering that his mother has played a huge part in his first love's demise, it seems to be fitting for him to exact his revenge on Lily's love interest as it will definitely put a huge blow on her.
In connection to the upcoming gathering, Bonnie and Matt will discover a "devastating revelation" which, as said in TFC, will cause Alaric to reach his breaking point. Could this revelation be related to his wife's Jo?
Meanwhile, a report, this time coming from TVLine, gives further weight that the show and its spin-off, "The Originals," might be heading toward a crossover episode.
In an interview with the publication, TVD executive producer Caroline Dries said that both shows "have been thinking about how to make it work."
"We have one large kitchen between the two of our offices, so I think — finally — we might be able to work something out. There are a lot of spinning plates," the showrunner said.
So, should the fans start to be on the lookout for this reported crossover event? It remains to be seen. In the meantime, "The Vampire Diaries" Season 7 Episode 6 airs this Thursday, Nov. 12 at 8/7c on The CW.
