'The Voice' Season 9 News: Couple Get Engaged on the Show

With the fifth episode of "The Voice" season 9 airing tonight, fans will get to see who are the lucky few joining the teams for the final auditions.

The previous episode of the season saw the show's first marriage proposal. A couple consisting of Jubal Lee Young and Amanda Preslar performed for the judges, which led to Pharrell and Gwen turning their chairs. After their performance, Blake asked them if they were already married in which Amanda replied, "Not yet… one day."

Apparently that day was the previous episode, when Jubal proposed to Amanda. He said, "I think it's pretty obvious since we started dating it's probably where this was going to go. It just works. I figured you have this opportunity to come do a blind audition you want to marry the girl anyway, why not? I mean, it's good TV, it's fun, it's sharing the moment. I mean it's just — I just didn't see any downside to going for it there."

That led to Adam teasing the couple that Blake was actually an ordained minister, which can allow them to get married right then. More good news for the couple were revealed in the episode when they joined Team Pharrell.

Meanwhile, several other performers also got some good news. It was reported that the episode featured twins Andi and Alex, who both ended up in Team Adam.

Another standout performer was Krista Hughes, who was able to get all the judges to turn during her performance. She performed her version of "Angel from Montgomery." With an inclination to country music, the performer chose Team Blake. Krista came from a town in West Virginia.

Tonight's episode will allow fans to see who are the last few additions to the teams of Pharrell, Gwen Stefani, Blake Shelton, and Adam Levine.
