'The Walking Dead' Season 5 Finale Spoilers, Plot News: 90 Minute Episode Set to Shock

Online TV guides have reported "The Walking Dead's' season finale at the end of March will be a supersized version compared to its other episodes.

The popular US apocalyptic drama series, "The Walking Dead" will be airing its season finale on March 29, and reports have emerged it will feature the longest episode in the series, running for a supersized 90 minutes compared to its usual one hour timeslot.

While "The Walking Dead" has often been known to extend its runtimes during the first few seasons, the March 29 finale is touted to be the longest, meatiest and bloodiest yet.

Fans of the Golden Globe Awarded drama series will enjoy 30 more minutes of brain splattering for the anticipated episode, and what is reported to be a show filled with characters releasing their innermost emotions.

Based on the released synopsis for the show's Season 5 finale, the on-the-run Daryl (Norman Reedus) will be getting into a lot of serious trouble while Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and the rest of the group feel like outsiders as they struggle to adjust to the walled Camp Alexandria where Aaron, the new character from the previous Sunday's "The Distance" episode guided them to.

"The group has a difficult time molding to a new lifestyle, forcing them to consider whether they can be the people they once were," a summary on AMC reads.

AMC continues to keep Daryl's whereabouts a secret, but will reveal where he is during the 90-minute finale. According to a theory posted at the The Spoiling Dead Fans Facebook page, Daryl may have found himself in the territory of The Wolves, one of the groups of survivors, pointing out to signs seen in Episode 9 where Wolves graffiti is shown on walls.

Speculation as to who or what the Wolves may be will be answered when the Season 5 finale finally hits the small screens on Sunday March 21.
