'The Walking Dead' Season 6 Episode 14 Recap: Denise Dies, Eugene Upset Over Abraham
American horror drama television series "The Walking Dead" just aired its season 6 episode 14 which leaves the show with only two more episodes left. But before the show could move on to the next episode, a recap of the previous episode titled "Twice as Far" is most needed for those who missed it.
As detailed in Portland Mercury, the episode kicked off with a peaceful Alexandria. Rick and his gang have gone home after the rescue of Maggie and Carol and the killing spree that happened at Negan's outpost. Everyone went back to their normal goings-on like Olivia taking inventory of stock in the pantry, Gabriel walking around with a rifle, Eugene guarding and Morgan building a jail cell. Rosita has also been hooking up with Spencer while Carol sat on her porch swing with a cigarette on her one hand and the rosary she got from The Saviors on the other hand. It seems like she has moved in with Tobin who gave her a kiss.
Eugene and Abraham also went on a walking trip to a metal shop, as noted in Coming Soon. Eugene tells Abraham that they can actually make use of the metal shop to make bullets. Abraham agrees but their conversation is cut short when a stray walker appeared. Eugene bravely tells Abraham dibs. Unfortunately, the walker is covered in metal over its head. So when Eugene tried to kill it with the use of his machete, it only bounced back. The walker had taken over Eugene so Abraham stepped in and helped kill the walker.

Abraham's help was not appreciated though as Eugene told him that he did not need to be saved. Abraham just told him that he is good at thinking but not so in killing. This made Eugene upset and told him that he no longer needs his protection services. Abraham got upset too telling Eugene to find his way home on his own.
Meanwhile, Denise, Daryl and Rosita went on a trip as well to Edison's Apothecary and Boutique. Denise insists of a medicine available there. But on their way, they came upon a fallen tree across the street so they had to take the rest of the trip on foot. Rosita suggested following the railroad tracks but Daryl insisted another way even though it was twice as far. They got to their destination and found lots of supplies.
Unfortunately, Denise's bravery was short-lived when an arrow went straight through her head. It was Daryl's nemesis, D, who killed her. They also tried to take Daryl, Rosita, Eugene and Abraham down but fortunately, D or Dwight was not successful. The episode also showed Carol leaving Alexandria.
