'The Walking Dead' Season 6 Episode 9 Spoilers – The Calm Before The Storm in Alexandria As Rick and Others Put Plan in Place
The penultimate episode of Season 6 of "The Walking Dead" before it goes on a midseason break is titled "Heads Up" and it seems to lay the foundation of an action plan that will play out in the finale with major cliffhangers. Meanwhile, an uneasy calm before the storm is cloaking Alexandria.
The previous episode of "The Walking Dead" was focused on what happened to Daryl, Sasha and Abraham. The episode titled "Always Accountable" started with Sasha, Abraham and Daryl being shot at by unknown people and in the melee, Daryl got separated from the other two.
Deciding to explore by foot and leaving his bike under some foliage, Daryl meets two women but is suddenly attacked from behind. Meanwhile, Sasha and Abraham hide and wait for Daryl to find them. Daryl meets a new group who are on the run from another group. Daryl gets caught up in their mess and in the end, helps a couple escape. Unfortunately, once they get to where he hid his bike, the couple turn a gun on him and leave with his bike and his crossbow.
Ultimately, he finds Sasha and Abraham. Who or what is this new group or groups and why they are fighting is not that clear at the moment.
The three teasers of the upcoming episode, "Heads Up" reveals an uneasy calm in Alexandria. One promo shows some action as Maggie is running and walkers seem to have entered Alexandria. Somebody is concealing a gun as Carol with the baby sees something of concern.
The other promo shows some tense stuff will happen between Rick and Morgan. Rick is doing a reconnaissance of the place as he comes upon Morgan who is practising with his stick. He tells Morgan they have to talk soon and Morgan, though smiling, has a grim expression on his face as Rick departs. As Rick walks close to the walls, he spots the blood oozing out of the wall that Deanna had missed in the last episode.
The third promo shows Morgan, Rick and Michonne talking. Morgan seems adamant and says the philosophy that all life is precious has changed him. Maybe it shows Morgan telling the two that he has imprisoned a person from the Wolves' gang instead of killing him.
Rick argues that in the present situation, is it possible that he will not have blood on his hands? Still Morgan sticks to his philosophy and Michonne tells him they are mere words and they will all have to do something drastic to save themselves.
The episode "Head's Up" of Season 6 of "The Walking Dead" will air on AMC this Sunday, Nov. 22 at 9 p.m. EST.
