'The Walking Dead' Season 6 News: New Zombies; Premiere Spoilers
The upcoming season of "The Walking Dead" is expected to bring a new kind of zombie.
It was reported that Greg Nicotero, the show's executive producer and special effects makeup artist, will be bringing a new look for the zombies.
According to Entertainment Weekly, Norman Reedus shared some details on his favorite part of the upcoming season. He explained, "There are super beautiful elements to [Nicotero's] zombies, but sometimes there's a little something funny in there that just he knows and nobody else knows — or major comic-book fans or major zombie fans. There's one particularly beautiful, gruesome zombie — he's got a lot of green moss on him. But when you see that episode — it's in episode 6, I think, that particular zombie — something happens, and it harks back to a Daryl and Carol moment. I'm going to let you just guess what that could be, but there are Easter eggs in some of those zombies, so you'll see it in episode 6."
In addition, it was revealed that the premiere of the sixth season will be titled "First Time Again." The episode is expected to see Rick and the rest of the group battling with some dangerous matters when they encounter a herd of walkers near Alexandria.
Their problem arises when they realize that the barricade is going to give out soon. With that, it was rumored that Carter, played by Ethan Embry, will see his death in the season's first episode. It was speculated that this will be due to the break in the barricade.
Fans can expect that the premiere will also explore the development of the other characters. It will also feature a time jump, as well as explanations to the changes to come.
"The Walking Dead" season 6 is expected to premiere on Oct. 11.
